Agent capability is bundled into D-ID's wider Studio plans alongside its video-generation tools, so it's worth checking exactly how many "agentic" minutes a given plan includes before you commit.
Tavus calls its real-time avatars "PALs," built on its own Phoenix rendering, Sparrow turn-taking and Raven perception models. Beyond a standard conversational embed, PALs can join a live Google Meet or Zoom call as a participant, share and talk through a screen in "Browser Mode," or generate on-the-fly interactive visuals during a conversation. It's a newer addition to Synthesia's lineup than its core video tools, so check directly with Synthesia on current availability and pricing for this specific product.
HeyGen's LiveAvatar offers two ways in: Full Mode, where HeyGen manages the entire conversational pipeline (speech-to-text, LLM and text-to-speech), or Lite Mode, where you bring your own LLM and voice provider and use LiveAvatar purely as the real-time video rendering layer, delivered over WebRTC.
